After a monumental UFC 300 event, the UFC returns to action this weekend with UFC Fight Night: Nicolau vs. Perez.
The event features top flyweight contenders Matheus Nicolau and Alex Perez potentially fighting for a spot in the top five ranking, in a division that is wide open for an impressive contender to quickly rise to a title shot.
Opening the card are Chinese fighters in back-to-back fights, and both are in strong need of a win. First, Maheshate Hayishaer fights Gabriel Benitez to end a two-fight losing streak. The talented striker has settled in at Fight Ready MMA in Arizona after a stint at Kill Cliff FC in Florida.
Liang Na, while 0-3 in the UFC, has entertained in each competition. Loyal to her home gym Longyun MMA in Harbin, China, Liang fights Ivana Petrovic at flyweight.
