After a long hiatus, Invicta FC is back in Kansas City this evening with a new broadcast partner.

Invicta FC 55: Bernardo vs. Rubin is the first event of a long-term deal with CBS Sports. Bantamweight champion Talita Bernardo puts her belt on the line against Bellator veteran Olga Rubin in the main event, defending the strap for the first time.

Asian MMA also has a part to play at Invicta FC 55, as a pair of Japanese athletes make the jump from DEEP Jewels to the United States. PFL veteran Yoko Higashi (8-4) fights Taylor Guardado at featherweight, while DEEP Jewels microweight champion Saori Oshima (14-4) fights Andressa Romero.

Oshima has been making the rounds at several East Asian MMA promotions recently, picking up wins in RIZIN, Black Combat, and DEEP. She's considered by many as one of the best in the lighter womens' weight classes and comes to Invicta FC renewing an old partnership between the promotion and DEEP Jewels.

The main card for Invicta FC 55: Bernardo vs. Rubin airs on CBS Sports network in the US, and live results will be posted below.
