Updated: Jan 20

Closing out the year in Indonesian MMA is a solid offering from Canggu Fight Night.

Organized by Bali MMA, Canggu Fight Night 28 goes down on December 30th from Bali's Atlas Super Club. The promotion has reached far outside of Indonesia to gather some top international prospects to highlight the card:

In the main event, top New Zealander Matt Vaile (12-2) fights undefeated Dagestani Shamil Shikhshabekov (5-0). Vaile has primarily fought for Australian promotion XFC, while Shikhshabekov has competed exclusively in Russia.

The co-main event see young, promising Chinese prospect Agulali (9-1) fights outside China for the first time. He'll fight Murad Kurbanov (8-3), who has only seen the final bell once in eleven fights. The fight is scheduled for the bantamweight division.

Agulali, who is just twenty years old, hails from the storied Enbo Fight gym in Chengdu, China. The Yi ethnic minority has been camped out at the UFC PI in Shanghai for the past year, taking advantage of the world-class instruction of the Performance Institute.

Canggu Fight Night typically does not broadcast live events, but posts each fight on their YouTube channel shortly after.
