Top Indonesian MMA league One Pride MMA is starting their 2024 campaign with a grand event.

Two of their top fighters, flyweight champion Steve Suwardi and featherweight champion Yudi Cahyadi, will defend their belts in the main and co-main event on Saturday, February 3rd, at Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno basketball hall. The promotion announced the news today on their social media channels.

In the co-main slot, Yudi "Sanda" Cahyadi (6-1) fights undefeated Firman Muharram Syach (5-0) for the One Pride featherweight championship. Cahyadi is one of the top fighters overall out of Indonesia, and hoping to defend the belt for the second time. He's finished his last five opponents.

Syach, who trains out of Han Fighting Academy, is coming off a submission win over Alpris Mantako in a number-one contender fight last July.

The main event features One Pride's most popular fighter, flyweight champion Steve Suwardi defending the belt against Ifran Aruan (3-1). Aruan secured a shot at the belt after winning three straight in the promotion, including a 98-second demolition of Brilly Prima last October.

At 39 years old, Steve Suwardi (14-4) has accomplished everything in One Pride MMA, defying the odds to win and defend the belt twice. His last contest at One Pride Fight Night 72 in September saw him go five rounds with Aditya Ginting and take a unanimous decision.

Also announced for the One Pride Fight Night 76 main card was a featherweight fight between Wushua Sanda's Laode Abdul Haris (6-5) and Lamhot Parulian Tambunan (8-6) of Bali MMA.

The main card of One Pride Fight Night 76 will air live on TV One in Indonesia, and on One Pride's YouTube channel at 10am EST / 7am PST on February 3rd.
