Fans growing restless for news about MFN 14- the next event from the leader in Indian MMA, Matrix Fight Night- got some good news today.
Though no date or location was announced by the promotion, Matrix Fight Night posted the first six fights for MFN 14 to MFN's social media pages.
Topping the announcement was an intriguing featherweight fight between rising Indian prospect Rahul Thapa (4-1) and popular Afghani Zahoor Shah (2-1). Thapa is 3-0 with MFN and recently took out fellow prospect Avizo Lanamai at MFN 12.
Shah has never fought out of the first round, and holds an eventful win over Srikant Sekhar in April of 2022. He sat out 2023 and returns to represent Afghanistan in Matrix Fight Night alongside Abdul Azim Badakhshi.
Another solid addition to the card is 4-1 bantamweight Sahil Rana, who trains out of the booming Soma Fight Club in Indonesia. He'll fight 2-0 Tanzanian Chris Tibenda, who fights outside of Africa for the first time.
